Since they're likely to be running everything from Windows 98 onward, and possibly might be running Linux or Mac OS X, is there any reasonable way to get things in the right spots that doesn't involve multi-faceted instructions that are easy to confuse? From what I can tell, every version of Windows puts the user's home directory in a slightly different spot.
