I'm glad you are so hopeful. I actually, really do want you to convert this to a GNU make/gcc project so that everyone can recompile jeditlauncher. I think Alex is going to get this to compile using VC++ and when he does it, I'm going to use the converter myself on the project file. You are right though: I am "fearful" it would be a time consuming task that nobody will do. I am "Uncertain" of how much work is involved in doing this step and I have only a little bit of "doubt" that the source code would have to be modified to make it work. Ah, lets not bash C++'s "standardization" here. Let that sleeping dog lie for now. If you want to get at Microsoft, help us make jeditlauncher easier to use so that everyone has a favorite editor that works on another non-MS systems. Make the applications work well everywhere, including Windows, and the price of Windows OS CDs will come tumbling down and the quality will go up; and the old desktop monopoly will disappear.
