Bugs item #785919, was opened at 2003-08-09 08:34 Message generated for change (Tracker Item Submitted) made by Item Submitter You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=100588&aid=785919&group_id=588 Category: text area and syntax packages Group: normal bug Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Submitted By: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: en wjedit >= 4.2 word wrapping to screidth is broken Initial Comment: When word wrapping is 'soft' and wrap margin has been set to '0' (as in the documentation), the text in the editor pane does NOT resize to the width of the screen - the text simply doesn't wrap at all. This makes using multiple jedit windows a real pain, as I have to manually find the approx. character width of each window. This has been verified with Jedit 4.2pre2/4 builds both on Windows and Linux (Sun and Blackdown 1.4.2/1.4.1 JDKs). Using the exact same configuration with Jedit 4.1final works perfectly. This is the _only_ serious annoyance I have discovered in 4.2, which I'd like to get fixed as soon as possible - otherwise, great work developers!
