Hello all, You know how jEdit minimizes and then restores its window when you startup a second instance? It does this to bring itself to the top of the Windows Desktop. It would be better if jEdit just came to the top of the Windows Desktop without the minimize/restore. I have noticed in the latest preview source code (4.2pre2 as of the time of this writing) that jEdit will keep the miminze/restore as an option, and give up on trying to get the jEdit window to the top of the Windows Desktop. I have proposed a solution to this issue and sent the code Slava. Please take a look and try running it for yourself. You can find the code and binaries in the zip archive at the URL below. Included in the archive are detailed descriptions of the problem as well as the solution. To run the included jedit.jar file you need to copy it and the OperaingSystem.dll file to your jEdit installation directoy. And then run jEdit.
