Bugs item #608067, was opened at 2002-09-11 17:19 You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=100588&aid=608067&group_id=588 Category: editor core Group: minor bug >Status: Closed Resolution: None Priority: 5 Submitted By: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: jEditLauncher crashes using %CLASSPATH% Initial Comment: ** jEdit 4.0.3 on Windows XP with Sun JDK 1.4.0_01 ** If I try to set the jEdit parameters to something like: "C:\java\j2sdk1.4.0_01\bin\javaw.exe" -mx64m -cp % CLASSPATH%;"C:\java\jEdit\jedit.jar" org.gjt.sp.jedit.jEdit I get an error dialog box stating: Error launching jEdit: JEdit.JEditLauncher - The system cannot find the file specified. If I use the -jar option, the launcher works fine but I don't get the rest of my classpath. I have already tried uninstalling and reinstalling the jEditLauncher registry settings, but the errant behavior persists. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: Carmine Lucarelli (carmine) Date: 2002-11-28 09:39 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=189246 You probably have a space in one of the paths set in %CLASSPATH%. Instead of this: %CLASSPATH%;"C:\java\jEdit\jedit.jar" try wrapping the entire string in double quotes instead of just the jedit.jar location. That should fix it. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=100588&aid=608067&group_id=588 |
