Not scientists' books and articles, not artists' masterpieces - the secretaries, managers etc deal with MS formats today. So if low-level manager (well, team leader) in Java-oriented company would be able to work with some simple documents directly from his development environment - what's wrong here? Same applies to techwriters documenting the code etc. So there is a niche. I really hate MS dominance. But we live in a real world. Let's promote XML and other open standards - and make our products useful to general people. Regards, Sergey |
