Was anybody able to get the folding working? I think it would be a great
feature to have, but this jar doesn't seem to do anything for me.

Subject: [ jEdit-users ] configurable fold handler plugin
I've added a new plugin to the beta plugin downloads section of the jEdit
community site. it adds an extra fold handler that uses user-defined strings
for the start and end of folds. it's pretty basic at the moment but has been
working fine on my machine for a couple of months with { and } as the fold
strings (for java methods, classes etc). fold strings can be anything as
long as they're not blank and one isn't a substring of the other. currently
the folding is case sensitive. in the absence of any settings it defaults to
{ and }. invalid settings won't throw up an error (except in the activity
log), folding will just be disabled until the settings or fold handler is
changed.
it should work with jEdit 4.0pre6 and later, but for versions before 4.1pre2
any changes in the fold strings won't have any effect until the fold handler
has been changed to a different one and changed back to the custom handler.
in 4.1pre2 changes will have an immediate effect.
it can also be found at
http://www.blue.uklinux.net/ConfigurableFoldHandler.jar. any feedback, bug
reports or suggestions (I'm not making any promises though...) are most
welcome. I hope it's of some use to some of you.
