Lionel, Thanks, that is exactly what I was looking for, but is there a way to get at the path/name of the temporary file? I can obviously construct it from the buffer name, knowing what my global options settings (backup directory and prefix/suffix) are but it would be nice if I could make it more flexible as there are other people in my organisation that would be interested in using it and they will have different settings. Also, why do I need to check if the buffer is "dirty"? Can I not just save before printing regardless? David >then you can simply use the folowing: >buffer.autosave(); >but you will have to print the '#your_filename#' (autosaved file) file >instead of the 'your_filename' file. >Check for buffer.isDirty() to know your buffer state before this. >Hope this helps, >Lionel. ____________________________________________________________________________ __ ifrance.com, l'email gratuit le plus complet de l'Internet ! vos emails depuis un navigateur, en POP3, sur Minitel, sur le WAP... http://www.ifrance.com/_reloc/email.emailif |
