Follow up from private mail :- Quite often I'll have a jEdit session with lots of buffers (>20) open, but I'll be switching between two or three of them often. It'd be nice if I could say Buffer "docs.bml" is C-1, and "docs2.bml" is C-2, and "docs3.bml" is C-3. Even if I had to open the switchbuffer dialog first - which is on a shortcut anyway. I reckon this is a fairly common configuration - if it's not, then I'll just have a play with the source on my own (if it's available). Incidentally, there seems to be a tiny bug, it doesn't work for the first character typed. It seems to be close, but not quite. If the source is available for this, I'll take a look if you want (promise I'll be careful!)
