I finally took some time to play with the LookAndFeel plugin yesterday, and noticed that it supposedly has the ability to take a standard gtk skin and put it onto jedit. However, when I zipped up my favorite skin and tried to load it, nothing happened (on the other hand, I had no trouble going the other way - taking the LookAndFeek skin and loading it in gnome). The documentation is seriously lacking here, so I was wondering if anyone else has had any luck. Also, is there a dev kit for creating jEdit's own internal skin format? Is it even possible, or are they something built into java? Mostly, all I want to do is change the colors to something darker (anything to reduce my eye strain is good - I want to keep my 20/20 vision as long as possible, despite the fact that I spend 10 hours each day in front of a monitor).. -Chris |
