Hi, I am a bit disappointed by the new File System Browser. The new parent directories tree is not as intuitive as the "Up" button in jEdit 3.2. At first glance, I though that the top widget was a directory tree (with only directories) and the bottom widget was a file list (with only files). When I tried going up in this the directories tree, sub folder disappeared: wow! Strange behaviour, for those who are used Microsoft File Explorer! Well, it looks like a tree, but it's not a tree (tricky thing). In fact, this parent directories widget replace the "Up" button which is not a menu button anymore. I use everyday the File System Browser docked on the left. The new parent directories widget uses a lot of space on the screen. When reduced to the minimal size (1 line), displayed information is useless. Furthermore the new "Commands", "Plugins" and "Favorites" buttons waste space as well. This is only my opinion about new features. I understand that some people may disagree with me.
