When I first run Jedit (3.3.2) with pretty much all plugins added, its=20 taking about 30mb of ram (win2k, jdk 1.3.1) if I minimize its takes about=20 8mb, bringback it sits on 22mb. I build my project with Ant (running the=20 same VM) and it ends up sitting at 40mb, and doesn't lower. Minimizing=20 Jedit it now takes 10mb, bringing back I'm sitting at 22mb again. Now, I just minimized again, it Win2k says its taking 1.4mb, redisplaying=20 i'm at 13mb, then it rises up to 16mb. Is there anything that could be done to put some consistency in the memory=20 usage? (preferably at the lower end). Does 4.0pre1 address any of these=20 memory issues? --=20 Mark Derricutt E-Mail: = ma...@ti...
