Where is it getting JRE path from? My JAVA_HOME is set to:
JAVA_HOME=c:\jdk1.3.1
And I have no environment variables pointing to the JRE installed in Program
Files.
What is different from my configuration from others that get Ant Farm
working right off the bat?

Many thanks... using jedinit worked.
Does jEdit have an FAQ page?! :)
Many thanks, Brian.
