Summary: XML errors on long lines

Initial Comment:
Using 3.1 final, NT4, JDK 1.2.2.

When you edit XML and there are errors, JEdit 
highlights them like MS Word highlights spelling 
errors. If you have an error that results *in a whole 
line being highlighted*, and the line is really long, 
JEdit slows to a severe crawl, which slows the whole 
machine. I had to kill JEdit and fix the file with 
WordPad to get around the problem.
