Bugs item #425875, was updated on 2001-05-21 03:49 You can respond by visiting: http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=100588&aid=425875&group_id=588 Category: virtual file systems Group: severe bug Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Submitted By: Seb (papachlob) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: thread crash when try to browse folders Initial Comment: I just downloaded the 3.1 version of JEDit (I used to work with 3.02 which was very good) but when I want to open a file, as soon as I want to go to the parent folder, I click on the UP icon, it gives me this error: "Each VFS browser can only execute one input/output operation at a time. Please wait until the current operation finishes (or abort it in the I/O progress monitor) before starting another one." and then I cannot even close the application which is crashed. (That is severe) Note that this Open action is the first one I do as soon as the application has started, no other thread is running in the I/O window when I start the Open action. I work under Windows 2000 - I use Java 2. (Apart from this problem I love your application, so clever, so Java!) Seb. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: Seb (papachlob) Date: 2001-06-13 06:35 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=224510 This problem happens absolutely each time I try, that is why I came back to version 3.02. Where can I find the activity log you are asking me? ( I remember it was difficult for me to recover version 3.02 the last time I installed version 3.1. Can you tell me if I may meet troubles again if I install version 3.1 in another folder - will the old one still work? Because I need it.) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Slava Pestov (spestov) Date: 2001-06-13 03:55 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=2280 Does this problem still occur? Could you send me your activity log next time it happends? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=100588&aid=425875&group_id=588 |
