The file "optional.jar" (which contains the task >vssget) is in my classpath and in the $ANT_HOME/lib directory. How do I get >Ant to find it when ran from within jEdit? Two possibilities you might try on a trial and error basis: When you run build.xml from the command line, the path to optional.jar is somewhere in your classpath. Try putting that path in the classpath used when launching jEdit. You may need to put a classpath statement into the build.xml file: Example: <classpath> <pathelement path="${ant.home}"/> <fileset dir="lib"> <include name="**/*.jar"/> </fileset> </classpath> There are probably more concise ways to do that. i just pulled it from one of my own build files.
