[ jEdit-users ] Xinsert and $-Character

Hi,
I have the following problem. I defined the following template in Xinsert:
<item name="Test">
<![CDATA[$running_under_some_shell=0;]]>
</item>
When I insert it the $ disappears. How can I avoid this ?
