Is it possible to scroll text behind EOF in jEdit 4.2?
I like this feature in 4.1.

In 4.1 I can scroll the last line of text up to the top of the text area. In
4.2 I can't - the last line stays at the bootom of the text area.

Oh OK. In 4.1 this was only possible with soft wrap on, but really it
was a side effect of the poor soft wrap implementation. I'm not sure
having this is a good idea. Does anybody else miss this "feature"?

Well, I just get used to this "feature".
I did not realize it is a "bug" ;-)

I too miss the soft wrap implementation, of course I always thought of 
it as a feature rather than a bug...

Soft wrap is still there in 4.2, just this particular wart where you
could scroll past the end of the file is gone.
