@daleanson That is try but the plugin management is built into JEDIT and it could use a check/reminder system like many other products that have add-ons. Anyway I'll keep plugins in mind for future issues, but it would also help if JEDIT had a way to temporarily disable all plugins for testing (or a way to save/restore state). --- **[plugin-bugs:#1928] Buffertabs: Can't Move Tab Positions in Jedit 5.7.0 + Eclipse Adoptium Java 21.0.4** **Status:** closed **Group:** **Labels:** tab **Created:** Wed Sep 25, 2024 11:17 PM UTC by dbareis **Last Updated:** Sun Sep 29, 2024 11:14 PM UTC **Owner:** nobody On Windows 11, since moving to JEDIIT 5.7, I have not been able to swap tabs to alter their ordering. --- Sent from sourceforge.net because jed...@li... is subscribed to https://sourceforge.net/p/jedit/plugin-bugs/ To unsubscribe from further messages, a project admin can change settings at https://sourceforge.net/p/jedit/admin/plugin-bugs/options. Glad to hear you got it sorted. Actually, the jEdit releases are independent of the plugin releases, so every now and then, just check the plugin manager for updates on your plugins. --- **[plugin-bugs:#1928] Buffertabs: Can't Move Tab Positions in Jedit 5.7.0 + Eclipse Adoptium Java 21.0.4** **Status:** open **Group:** **Labels:** tab **Created:** Wed Sep 25, 2024 11:17 PM UTC by dbareis **Last Updated:** Sun Sep 29, 2024 10:12 PM UTC **Owner:** nobody On Windows 11, since moving to JEDIIT 5.7, I have not been able to swap tabs to alter their ordering. @ezust Good pickup on BufferTabs, your question prompted me to look at the many plugins I have installed (I can't see a way to generate a list), and about 6 were not on the latest version (including BufferTabs), after updating them, I no longer have this issue :-) Periodically or at least after an update to JEDIT it might be nice to be reminded if some plugins need updating... --- **[plugin-bugs:#1928] Buffertabs: Can't Move Tab Positions in Jedit 5.7.0 + Eclipse Adoptium Java 21.0.4** **Status:** open **Group:** **Labels:** tab **Created:** Wed Sep 25, 2024 11:17 PM UTC by dbareis **Last Updated:** Sun Sep 29, 2024 02:10 PM UTC **Owner:** nobody On Windows 11, since moving to JEDIIT 5.7, I have not been able to swap tabs to alter their ordering.
