I posted a patch that should fix these macros: https://sourceforge.net/p/jedit/patches/642/. --- **[bugs:#4140] jEdit 5.7: bundled Emacs Macros are broken** **Status:** open **Group:** minor bug **Created:** Wed Oct 09, 2024 08:59 PM UTC by Robert Schwenn **Last Updated:** Wed Oct 09, 2024 08:59 PM UTC **Owner:** nobody Hi, the bundled Emacs Macros seem to be generally broken. I tried some of them and I got exceptions, no effects and even jEdit hanging. Tested without any plugins loaded. May be they should be unbundled? For me, this is true for jEdit 5.6 and 5,7. In most cases the macros just needed to be updated to work with the current API. The align decls macro appeared to be unfinished. Hi Eric, thanks for that. I'm rather lost in SVN, can't seem to checkout the plugins/NetRexxPlugin subtree.. Much more comfortable in git, so if one could create a git repo on sourceforge to maintain this NetRexxPlugin, that would be great for the long run, and my write permission on the SVN repo can be witdrawn. Again, thanks a lot Marc On 11/18/24 10:01 PM, Eric Le Lay wrote: > > Hi Marc, > > you now have commit permission to the repo. > As you know many plugins live as a subtree of the SVN repo. As you know many plugins live as a subtree of the SVN repo. Please only commit to the NetrexxPlugin subtree. I don't remember if any mechanisms are in place to effectively restrict commit write. If another admin remembers, please chime in! If you are prepared to take over maintaining the netrexx plugin long(-ish) term and you prefer to switch to git, it's possible to setup a git repo on sourceforge or gitlab.com. Cheers, |

Hello, I'm one of the maintainers of NetRexx (https://www.netrexx.org/ and https://sourceforge.net/projects/netrexx/) and want to update an existing out-of-date plugin in the jEdit SVN repo (https://sourceforge.net/p/jedit/svn/HEAD/tree/plugins/NetRexxPlugin/). Would it be possible to be granted commit permission on the repo? Thank you Marc mailto:re...@gm... |
