If I do GitPlugin - Checkout and checkout a different branch, the name of the project is not updated with the suffix of the current branch.  Doesn't seem to matter if I reimport or not.

Related: Reimporting should also check if the branch name is correct and update the project name suffix  if necessary.

It should do that after opening the project too.

Hi, 
the bundled Emacs Macros seem to be generally broken. I tried some of them and I got exceptions, no effects and even jEdit hanging. Tested without any plugins loaded. May be they should be unbundled?

For me, this is true for jEdit 5.6 and 5,7.

System: Eclipse Adoptium JRE 21.0.4+7-LTS, Windows 11 Pro 23H2

This fixes the Emacs keyboard shortcut problems that I noticed on my (Linux) system.  In most cases the macros just needed to be updated to work with the current API.  The align decls macro appeared to be unfinished.  It should now work for simple two-token declarations.

Often, I go into the Git Project Options, the checkbox is unchecked and I gotta check it again to get the branch name to be updated in the project name. 

Basically, you gotta create a git project in projectviewer. Then from outside of jEdit (I use the command line git tool), checkout a different branch in that git project. How does jEdit ever figure out it needs to update the project name? I gotta go into the git project options and re-check that checkbox again.

thanks for that. I'm rather lost in SVN, can't seem to checkout the plugins/NetRexxPlugin subtree..
Much more comfortable in git, so if one could create a git repo on sourceforge to maintain this NetRexxPlugin, that would be great for the long run, and my write permission on the SVN repo can be witdrawn.

commit to the NetrexxPlugin subtree.

I don't remember if any mechanisms are in place to effectively restrict
commit write. If another admin remembers, please chime in!

If you are prepared to take over maintaining the netrexx plugin
long(-ish) term and you prefer to switch to git, it's possible to setup
a git repo on sourceforge or gitlab.com.

with jEdit 5.7 the ActionHooks Plugin 0.6 fails to initialize it's option pane in plugin options due to an exception:

Hi, 
macro Java/Make_Get_and_Set_Methods.bsh shows a dialog, but has no effect after confirming due to exception:

[error] AWT-EventQueue-0: Exception in thread "AWT-EventQueue-0" 
[error] AWT-EventQueue-0: java.lang.IndexOutOfBoundsException: Index 1 out of bounds for length 1
[error] AWT-EventQueue-0:  at java.base/jdk.internal.util.Preconditions.outOfBounds(Unknown Source)

The macro doesn't work in jEdit 5.6, too. For me, it doesn't matter whether or not some text is selected when invoking the macro.

System: jEdit 5.7, Eclipse Adoptium JRE 21.0.4+7-LTS, Windows 11 Pro 23H2

Fixed Macro Misc/Run_Script.bsh in order to run Beanshell script under Windows:

 - Pass file path argument without double quotes if edit mode is "beanshell".
