No

JEdit has some really nice syntax highlighting, e.g. for HTML and XML.

But when you select some jEdit content and paste it into MS Word, unfortunately the format of the text is lost.

JEdit should put format information into Windows clipboard (I guess this would be Rich Text).

By default, jEdit still should copy *without* format, copying with format should be done via a context menu entry. Ctrl-C should copy without format, as in most cases you dont want to retain the format.
Copying with format can be very useful, but not always.

it will only work when the code2html plugin is installed, in any case.
Whether the code2html plugin changes how the built-in copy works, or
offers its own alternate copy action, is yet to be seen, but if the latter,
you will be able to bind that to any keystroke from shortcut options.
