#4030 Systray does not work (Gnome3)

Systray icon (when "Show the systray icon" does not show in Gnome 3. See the attachement.

Also the icon is not visible at all when I turn on "Topicon plus" extension.

jEdit 5.3.0.

I get a floating jedit icon at the top left of my workspaces. The slightly anoying part is that it will follow every workspace :/ Right now I just disabled "Show system icon" under Appearance.
