#1258 File System Browser dialog box problems

In jEdit 4.1pre4 on Mac OS X with Java 1.3.1:

The drop-down buttons Favorites, Plugins, and Commands
don't work. Pressing on one causes the button to
flash, but no drop-down list appears.

I *think* the drop-down list may be painting behind the
dialog box, which effectively makes it look like it has
not appeared.
