I was trying to modify (adding Serial Number) for a number of Functional CIs by uploading the data in CSV file, sometimes it does work but mostly it tends to create a new item instead of modifying the existing one.
Can you please help me what is the primary field that the system read to identify if the Functional CIs is there or not?

Note: I did once download the file as CSV added the serial then reuploaded it , it went to create new functionalCIs
