An extra null pointer check is not needed in functions like the following.
CDepthBuffer
CImageLoaderJPG::loadImage
CImageLoaderPng::loadImage
CMD2MeshFileLoader::loadFile

Right you are :-) New version checked in (but won't compile right now due to another change... hopefully fixed later on today). Any others I forgot?
