I have an problem on intel based servers..

I ran the "ipmiutil sensor" command, but the output displays the Power Supply fans as "faulty".
When i log onto the webpage of the bmc , i also see the ipmi output from intel, but they say OK. The HEX Value is the same on the intel page, so it seems that ipmiutil is doing an wrong state conversion..

The Sens_ID is 36 und 37 (for PS1 Fan Fail and PS2 Fan Fail).

I appended the output from your tool :)

Thanks in advance for any help..

Yes, I see the problem. This is a new fan sensor (type 04) with event type 03.
This was being handled wrongly in decode_comp_reading.
This change has been committed to the SVN trunk, and will be in ipmiutil-2.9.3.

If you need a binary with the fix, please let me know which OS you are using.

Here is a Windows 64-bit binary with the fix.
