Does anyone know if this iperf will work with the Linux version of iperf on the other end?

    Hi,

I need to test the speed between a Linux machine and a Windows machine. Will this work on one end and the Linux version running on the other?

Also, is this software iperf 3 compatible?

    Thanks.

iperf 2 will work with windows and Linux. It doesn't interoperate with iperf 3.

Thank you. I have Android and Linux working, now on to Windows.

The Windows version of iperf2 won't install on my Windows 11 computer. Pops up a Microsoft warning not to continue. I tell it to install anyway. A box pops open briefly, then nothing. Don't know how to proceed now on Windows.

hmm, I don't have a windows machine for a few days. I can try and get back to you. Windows does have security that can prohibit installs of "untrusted" downlods.

I have "installed it" in W11 just by installing the old iperf 2.0.5 and then replacing the executable,
I guess that just placing the exe in a folder and adding that to the PATH would work too
