More of an FYI
On this page https://www.opbyte.it/grsync/download.html you link for mac download to http://grsync-mac.tuxfamily.org/?lang=en which says
End of the project
20 December 2013 This distribution of Grsync for Mac will not be updated anymore.
However, this package is available on brew https://formulae.brew.sh/formula/grsync at v 1.2.8. I installed it, it works. If you are interested, it is actually miscategorized as GUI apps are supposed to be in the cask https://formulae.brew.sh/cask/ If you get in the github for homebrew, I'm sure it can all get ironed out (and update to newer version).
I am not really sure what the difference is. I can say that grsync did not properly put itself in the /Applications directory the way it should have. It is instead run from the terminal.
Have a good day!
Hello,
Sorry for the late reply.
I'm pretty noob on MAC so not the right to person to try this, I hope someone can take this and provide a patch or something.
Meanwhile I will update the website with the link to the new version on brew.
Many thanks!
