In my experience, from a UX/UI point of view, the cog-wheel icon that is currently used for "Make a full run" in the user interface, is an icon that when used in other software usually symbolizes "Settings", "Options" or "Configuration". I propose it be changed for an icon that more symbolizes the commencement of an operation rather than configuring the inner workings of said operation. For instance, a traditional "Play" icon or similar. There are probably several to choose from already in the iconset currently used.

Anecdote: I use the grsync GUI once in a while, and everytime I am stumped looking for the button to "begin" and once I even triggered a full run by accident because I wanted to "go into settings" and mistook the full run icon for "Settings", with the result that my home directory was entirely polluted with file system folders and files before I realized what had happened and aborted.
