These keys were screwed up in 1.0.6, so this is the way we clean up in 1.0.7. If you did not have gramps installed before 1.0.7 then your first 1.0.7 run would have those messages, until you=20 start it up and successfully get through the startup druid. Don't worry about them, they are not a problem. > Traceback (most recent call last): > File "/usr/share/gramps/gramps.py", line 80, in ? > import gramps_main > File "/usr/share/gramps/gramps_main.py", line 44, in ? > import gnome > ImportError: No module named gnome This is the root of the problem. For some reason, the gnome module is not found by python. You should be able to do this: $ python >>> import pygtk >>> pygtk.require('2.0') >>> import gnome If you get an error then something is messed up, and it's not gramps' problem yet, rather python-gnome problem. SuSE traditionally had poor support for gnome, especially with the python bindings for it. Richard Bos might be able to help you here, as he has been providing the repository of working packages for SuSE.=20 > Can someone tell me what's wrong and how to fix it? Gnome-python-SuSE combination. Sorry, but I don't know details of SuSE to help with the specifics. Let's hope Richard will have some insights here.
