Are you a non-programmer who would like to help out with the gramps development effort? Have I got the task for you! gramps could use good example files. I really don't want to use real databases for screen shots, examples, and documentation. It's kind of a privacy thing. So as an alternative, I would like to be able to provide two examples for new users and for documentation. The first should be a gramps database, including a few photos. Try to use as many of the features as you can. Use partial dates and date ranges. I'd like this to be done entirely from scratch, using a fake family. Make the data believable. The second should be a GEDCOM file. Use whatever tool you want to create it. Like the first example, use fake names. These would become part of the distribution, and could be used for screenshots, tutorials, and anything else where we need a good example.
