<font face="Comic Sans MS">I looked through Gramps Bugs <font
face="Comic Sans MS">and found entries with estimated date
but nothing like this. This is my first attempt to use <font
face="Comic Sans MS">estimated</font> date so perhaps I
am doing something wrong.<br>

<font face="Comic Sans MS">I have a person with a birth
year of 1837. I added and e<font face="Comic Sans MS">vent
entry with the date of "Estimated between 1861 and
1865". I would expect the age field to have "(between
24 years and 2<font face="Comic Sans MS">8 years")<br>
<font face="Comic Sans MS">But the age field has "<font
face="Comic Sans MS">(between 27 years and 78
years)"<br>
<font face="Comic Sans MS">I entered the date in
this event using the date selection. Type =
estimated, Quality = range, Date = 1861, <font
face="Comic Sans MS">Second date = 1865<br>
Did I do this right"<br>
I am trying to add an entry for <font
face="Comic Sans MS">military</font>
service in the civil war without knowing the
exact dates this person served. <br>
