There are two feature requests related to this: 8812: Experimental place gazetteer https://gramps-project.org/bugs/view.php?id=8812 8974: Import place hierarchies from the GOV database https://gramps-project.org/bugs/view.php?id=8974 We seem to be heading in the direction of the GOV gazetteer. Gary Griffin and others have been progressing this. The experimental GetGOV gramplet is now in the third-party addons repository. Nick. |
