Hi I am working on updating the Danish translation for Gramps I have checked out the newest version and translated the missing and fuzzy. Erik P. Olsen is currently doing the proof reading. When he is done, how do I submit the new da.po file? The webpage says that you can submit via git, when you are allowed. How will this happen? The da.po file has a lot of lines starting with #~, looking like obsolete translations, can these safely be removed? Is there any (easy) way to backport the po file to version 4.2.x, so we can enjoy the new translation? If I do the translation for 3'rd party plugins, do I need any permision for submitting new po files? Will the plugins automatically include the po file in a new mo file, so changes will happen, next time you add the plugin? Sorry for all the questions, but I am new to localization PS I have contacted the latest recorded translator, and he does not want to maintain the translation anymore. Contacted the da...@da... and it looks like Erik and me are the only ones interested in doing the translation /Kaj |
