Yes, the gramplet did exactly what it was made to do! It helps with creating all the citation records, the event records and the place and media records (as I recall - I don't have the gramplet open in front of me now). If we didn't have the form gramplet, then you would have to open some large number of editors just to do that. For that reason, I am a great fan of the forms gramplet. I do feel for your pain in needing to open between 10 and more than 30 editor windows to record the rest of the information. I think this is a big problem with Gramps. I have created a GEPS: GEPS 034 https://gramps-project.org/wiki/index.php?title=GEPS_034:_Improve_usability to record the need to improve Gramps in this respect. I have only used the Form gramplet for census, and in this case I wouldn't actually want the name in the census to be recorded onto the person, because the name in the census is often an abbreviated, or possibly incorrect name, and not what I want to see in the person name. It would probably be helpful if the gramplet could make the family connections and the occupation, dependent on a checkbox (and if you like, also record an alternative name, again dependent on a checkbox). (I am surprised that the birth date is not listed when the birth event is there. perhaps this is just a problem of the data not refreshing).
