Thanks a lot Josip for porting gramps to windows. Install works well on win 8 64 bit. I recognized no mistakes running it parallel to gramps 3.4 I think I will wait some time with productive work. What I really miss is that user defined filters are not exported and imported to 4.02 As I user filters very often, I would have to build all those 40 filters new. Any Ideas how to transfer? Thanks in advance Uli 2013/10/1 Josip <jo...@pi...> > Hi all! > > I just made "GrampsAIO64-4.0.2_SVN23219_win64_py27.exe" which is all in > one installer of Gramps from gramps40 branch for 64bit Windows OS. > Now i need yours help to test it! > > It is built around python-2.7.5 and gtk-3.8.4 > > Included are also: > perl, intltool and gettext-tools (for building new versions with > "setup.py) > db-utils (for repairing database) > ghostscript, graphviz, goocanvas (reports) > webkitgtk (htmlview) > pil, icu, gexiv2, sdn, libxml2, libxml2mod, libxsltmod etc. > > As with any new gramps version first make backup with your current > version and make sure to not open any database with gramps4 cos you not > be able to use it again in gramps3. > > Gramps can be started with desktop or program-menu shortcut. > Alternatively in console from AIO\bin folder with: > python -EO gramps > > Download it from: http://goo.gl/pCtH1A > > -- > Josip > > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ > October Webinars: Code for Performance > Free Intel webinars can help you accelerate application performance. > Explore tips for MPI, OpenMP, advanced profiling, and more.
