Thank you Nick! I did not try the prototype yet, but I will do. Right now, I am using a gramps database model for storing some places where 3 of my ancestors have worked in: 3 generations of architect! I have around 500 place titles with the same city value but different locality-like or street value. Having a lot of addresses (old and/or current, german and/or french street name, father/son working together on a shared place, etc... ), I am wondering if, into the prototype, we have the ability to re-use hierarchy? If I need to re-use city, we suppose that the parent levels will be often the same. Street: 123 main street -- City: New York Code: zip code -- County: New York State: New York Country: USA Street: 456 common street -- City: New York Code: zip code -- County: New York State: New York Country: USA Same with others children levels of City/Village/Town, like Parish and Locality. ie. to re-use a parish often means same city and parents levels but maybe a different street of locality.
