Probably to late to answer now, but in the file GVFamilyLines.py, changing code imagePath = ThumbNails.get_thumbnail_path( Utils.media_path_full(self._db, media.get_path()), rectangle=mediaList[0].get_rectangle()) to imagePath = ThumbNails.get_thumbnail_path( Utils.media_path_full(self._db, media.get_path()), rectangle=mediaList[0].get_rectangle(), size=ThumbNails.SIZE_LARGE) will probably do the trick.
