I'm new to GRAMPS, and having a lot of difficulty installing plugins on my new, Mountain Lion Mac. Nothing stated in the docs has worked. There is NO 'install plugins' tab in the plugins manager. In MacOS/Users/MyUSername/ there is nothing labelled .gramps even after I've turned show hidden files on. The only thing there is an alias called gramps_user_directory that does not lead anywhere ("gramps_user_directory cannot be found"). Go to folder '~/.gramps' does nothing. 'ln -s .gramps gramps_user_directory' does nothing. There is no /Users/<username>/Library/Application Support/gramps, because OS Lion does not seem to have a bifurcated Library file structure anymore (there is no directory called Library under my username). Searching for .py files brings up nothing GRAMPS related. So my question, gentle reader, is this: How, pray tell, do you install GRAMPS plugins on a Mountain Lion OS laptop? -- View this message in context: http://gramps.1791082.n4.nabble.com/Mountain-Lion-Plugins-tp4656073.html Sent from the GRAMPS - User mailing list archive at Nabble.com. |
