I am not commenting on any particular addon, but the whole addon system, the structure of such things. If you are the author of some addon and you don't want it moved into gramps 4.0 then it's simple: don't propose it. If some addon doesn't come up to the standards that we expect gramps code to have then it won't be voted in, if it is proposed. If it's a proof-of-concept then it shouldn't be automatically migrating from release to release. Either it was a success, in which case it should be put in gramps proper, or else it wasn't, in which case it should be left to atrophy, ignored. |
