FYI, I'm keeping the http://gramps-connect.org/ site up to date with all of the latest code (this helps make sure that it works on Django 1.2, as I develop on Django 1.3. I think Rob has at least tried with Django 1.4). id: "admin", password: "gramps". I can see light at the end of the tunnel... there is now less left to do than has been done. Actually, I think that there is about 10% left. Still need to edit all the details on all objects (attributes, address, internet, LDS, etc), and need to be able to edit shared details. But that is the bulk of what is left. I just added WYSIWYG editing of notes, and that seems to match up fairly nicely with Gramps markup. I also just made my first use of the site with my Android phone... not bad! Of course, it would be great with a mobile CSS made for a phone, but I was able to manipulate the data without too many problems (I couldn't use the formatting in the WYSIWYG editor, but could enter/edit text. But maybe there is a trick to selecting data on the Android.) I also just tried with a tablet (iPad, Safari) and that worked even better! (I had to use the text-only version of the WYSIWYG HTML editor, but that was fine.) Just imported some data, exported, and ran a report straight from web. Pretty cool, if I have to say so myself :) -Doug > -Doug > >> -Doug >> >>> cheers, >>> >>> Enno >>> >>> >>> ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ >>> Live Security Virtual Conference >>> Exclusive live event will cover all the ways today's security and >>> threat landscape has changed and how IT managers can respond.
