Brian, This is a good suggestion and it should be quite easy to implement. Our three options are: 1. Embed SVG (or other format) graphics within the LaTeX files. 2. Use the Picture environment to draw the graphics directly in LaTeX. 3. Use the TikZ package to draw the graphics directly in LaTeX. I only chose (2) for the prototype because it is built in to LaTeX and seemed the easiest. Perhaps we should think about the advantages and disadvantages of each approach. Nick.
