Highlight the person you want the report for in the people view. Go to reports and choose the report you want. The name of the person last reported on will still there as center person. Click on the blue question mark at the end of the Center Person line. You will find the family name of your highlighted person. Click on the family name and pick out the person. Each time you report on a person from a new family it is added to the family name options. I find this a bit long winded, too, and preferred the old system. > Also I think you said that you can have several different family files > installed on Gramps but can only open and work on one at a time, is > this correct? Click on the Family Trees menu (top left corner of screen). Choose new (on left of the list of trees). Give the new tree a suitable name. Open it and then, using the Family Trees menu again, import the new file. Hope this is what you wanted. Pat |
