Gramps runs just fine on Kubuntu here. Just install it from the package manager (KPackageKit) and it will install all the dependencies for you. I have run Gramps on KDE for almost 10 years, and it runs fine. Most distros will run GTK and QT applications on KDE or Gnome without any problems. These just need to have certain libraries installed, and the package manager will automatically do this for you. HTH Peter |
