The layout and concept look great to me. I think it has about the right level of text.

The only thing I don't like is the colour scheme. The palette works but the choice of colours looks a bit '70s. It reminds me a bit of a default Ubuntu installation and I'm not keen on that either. :)

I don't have any particular views on using Wordpress or not.
