The dump tool probably has an option to write output as we now store it for family trees. If it does not, we need to invent a file extension like .gfam, and be able to consider this as the same as a family tree but stored as grdb is now. A function should then be added to dbdir that can convert .gfam to family tree storage solution, after which normal import/open can happen. Well, all a guess, somebody will have to look at the code at the moment we need it. Or somebody who has time at hand at the moment. Benny |
