(Sorry J=E9r=F4me, I accidently sent my previous reply just to you...) > Also, you may try Family Lines : > http://www.gramps-project.org/wiki/index.php?title=3DUnsupportedPlugins > (put it on your .gramps profile) > This is exactly why I wrote "FamilyLines.py". I also have access to a 48 inch plotter, and wanted a way to generate exactly the files I needed. The FamilyLines.py plugin has several options specifically to fine-tune the exact number of ancestors to output, to ensure the generated file can easily fit on the device you want to use. It is available from here: http://www.gramps-project.org/wiki/index.php?title=3DUnsupportedPlugins#Fam= ily_Lines Typically you tell it who are the "people of interest", and then tell it to follow ancestors and/or children. For example, if you put your parents down as people of interest, you'll get your brothers, sisters, and your direct ancestors. St=E9phane Charette |
