Great that all is back again. Could you file a bug on that strange
behaviour? It sounds like something we should keep an eye on to see if
it's GRAMPS or Windows that's the issue there.

and I'll put it in.

In terms of Benny's comment I just want to remind you that GRAMPS
makes two stages of backup of your database. If you also mkae your own
this might get confusing. I have actually lost data and wasted much
time by opening an older manual backup thinking it was the latest
backup. Now I always use the days date on my current file
(current_2007-04-07.grdb) so I don't run that risk again. Just a
thought, and I'm assuming the backups work on windows - I haven't
tested it myself.
