Gerald, >Hi -- I am generating a web site using Gramps 2.0.11. I have created >a note, using the media editor, for use on the home page. For the record, I have three notes that I wish to >use: > >HTML Header -- for every page >HTML Footer -- for every page >HTML Intro -- for the home/introduction page > >When I go to the HTML user header/footer, all three are selectable >(though no other media objects are -- how does it know?) > >However, when I go to the Home Media/Note ID, these three are not listed. > >I must be doing something wrong, but I can't figure out what. I can see how that would be confusing. As it exists now, the HTML Header and Footer must come from a note (with no media associated with it). The "Home", "Introduction" and "Publisher" must come from a media object that has media associated with it. I've changed this in the 2.1 branch which will eventually become 2.2. It will let you select notes with or without media for the Home, Introduction and Publisher. Until then, I guess you can add an image to your introduction to make it show up in the list you want. ~Brian |
