#1302 Recurrent events - exceptions entered on Outlook ignored
Hello,
I noticed a problem when one modifies a recurrent event on one occurrence, i.e. makes an exception:
- exception made on a Google device, e.g. change the time => OK, GSM syncs the exception w/ the PC
- exception made on Outlook => KO, GSM ignores the modification which remains on the PC, but the Google calendar still has the normal recurrence.
Result: the recurring event is different on both platforms.
What version are you running? There is an issue (#1269) with 3.X version syncing after making changes to recurring events and it was never fixed so I was worried about upgrading to a version that would make matters worse. The issue with recurring events you're sharing is almost worse because I'll be working off my phone that has incorrect meeting date/time info which can be disastrous (show up to kid's football game after it's over???)
The last test was done using v4.1.11, but I'll retry w/ the current v4.1.12 and let you know the results.
Here's my update on this problem after testing it w/ v4.1.12: the problem seems to be solved as PC updates are reflected correctly on the Google Calendar
